At Inspira Expeditions, we take you to discover Isla Negra and the poetry of Pablo Neruda with our exclusive Neruda & Coastal Treasures tour. We leave Santiago towards the coast and our first stop is the Inventando Papeles Workshop, where we will learn the art of creating organic paper from plant fibers. Then, we will visit the historic Nuestra Señora de la Merced Chapel (1815), a colonial architectural jewel, and the Totoral parish cemetery.
Next, we will arrive at the Kurt & Mariró House, with extraordinary views of the Pacific Ocean, where a breakfast reception awaits us in this summer resort of a couple of founders of Isla Negra that preserves the essence of the 40s.
We will visit the Pablo Neruda House Museum and, after lunch at the Nobel Restaurant, we will take a walk to Las Conchitas beach. And to finish the day, we will return to Kurt & Mariró House for tea time, where we will meet the renowned embroiderers of Isla Negra, who are currently exhibiting at the Venice Biennale. ** We offer the Plus+ option Tour Neruda Coastal Treasures + Casas del Bosque Vineyard, with wine tasting.
